Supported link scope

The scanner focuses on monetized links that can quietly break revenue paths: affiliate redirects, sponsor destinations, tracked referrals, and links placed in public YouTube descriptions.

Affiliate and referral links

The app checks supported network and referral patterns, including links that use tracking parameters or redirect hosts before sending readers to a merchant.

Sponsor and tracked links

Sponsor links, campaign links, and other tracked destinations are reviewed when they appear as public HTTP or HTTPS links in the scanned content.

YouTube descriptions

For supported YouTube channel URLs, public video descriptions are scanned separately so issues stay attached to the video where the link appears.

Current limits

Affiliate Link Gremlin does not sign in, bypass private pages, or guarantee coverage for every network pattern. It reports confirmed issues from public content it can safely reach.
